RadiateWP is growing! We are seeking a part-time WordPress Support Specialist to join our team to provide world-class phone and email support to our clients, troubleshoot a range of issues, and oversee WordPress and plugin maintenance for our clients’ sites.
Responsibilities will include Client Support — on-boarding and migration for new clients, WordPress support and troubleshooting, and scoping / estimating development and design requests; Maintenance — WordPress, theme and plugin updates on client sites, security and performance monitoring, and semi-annual site audits; Project Management — assign and manage development or design requests; ensure quality of all work; track time and generate monthly client reports.
Additional responsibilities — depending on candidate’s skills & experience — may include Web Development, editing existing WordPress themes and plugins, and developing custom themes and plugins for our clients; and/or Design, client branding and web design.
SUCCESS REQUIREMENTS
- 2-3 years experience using or developing with WordPress; Knowledge of installation process, file structure, themes & child themes, and popular plugins is essential
- Basic knowledGWge of Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including how to optimize images for Web
- Strong troubleshooting skills with a history of successful problem-solving
- 1-2 years experience with technical support or customer service
- Excellent (and we mean excellent!) communication skills
- You are a life-long learner and thrive on helping others while developing new skills
OTHER DESIRED SKILLS
- Web development including HTML 5, CSS3, PHP and javascript; and version control with Git
- Experience with web hosting, domains, DNS records
- Email marketing experience, especially with MailChimp
- Spreadsheets! (and other MS Office / Google Docs apps)
- User experience and/or web design experience
- Advanced experience with Adobe Creative Cloud applications
BENEFITS & DETAILS
- Contract to hire: Minimum 20 hours/week with potential for full-time
- Rate depends on experience
- Can work remotely, but on-site is preferred 1-2 days/week at Co+Hoots in downtown Phoenix
