Our Resources

My Web Audit

  • The starter package does not allow for the level of customization that I show in this presentation.
  • Getting this level of customization takes many many hours of preparation and work.
  • Even after everything is configured, a good audit process, even with automation, takes a lot of time and work.

DIY Site Audit Report

It is possible to do a site audit with minimal up-front costs and subscription fees.

(Beware, this option costs you time, which is a very valuable resource and should always be considered)

How to create your own DIY Site Audit Report

  • Decide what topics you want to cover in the audit. (SEO only vs. Comprehensive audit)
  • Decide what tools (free and low-cost) you want to use.
  • Create an audit template – Google Docs works great.
  • Create a process. Be sure to include:
    1. Checklist – Even if you are the only one doing the audit.

    2. Duplicate your template without overwriting it.

    3. Instructions – Do this even if you are the only one doing the audit. Video and screenshots can be a big help.

Our first audit report began in Google Docs and evolved over time.
